Philip Barbaree, of Shreveport, La., took down Andrew Orischak in the final match of the U.S. Junior Amateur, earning Golfweek's Junior Boys Player of the Week honors.

Barbaree erased a five-hole deficit during the second half of the 36-hole match, winning the 36th hole to even things and taking the victory at No. 15, the first hole of the sudden-death playoff.

The win was the first USGA title for Barbaree, a class-of-2017 LSU commit.
